Dr. V. Scott H. Solberg Ph.D, is Professor at the Boston University Wheelock College of Education and Human Development. With over 50 peer-reviewed publications, four books, and multiple presentations, Dr. Solberg is internationally and nationally recognized for creating a new career development paradigm for K-12 schools that focuses on enabling youth to develop their true potential by helping them navigate into the learning pathways needed to pursue their personal future life goals. This paradigm is best described in his book “Making School Relevant with Individualized Learning Plans: Helping Students Create Their Own Career and Life Goals” from Harvard Education Press and his recommendations are being implemented in over 30 states as well as Singapore. Dr. Solberg serves as Vice-President for Research the industry-led national Coalition for Career Development Center, co-directs the Boston University Center for Future Readiness, and co-leads an international SEL research network.
