Angela N. Romans
Angela N. Romans has spent 20+ years as a leader in nonprofit and public sector organizations, focused on education. She currently serves as founding Executive Director of Innovation For Equity, a network of professionals focused on collaborating and innovating across the education ecosystem to improve life outcomes for Black learners and increase Black leadership in education. In her roles, Angela has provided capacity-building and coaching to organizations and senior leaders in areas of strategy, governance, racial equity/DEI, collaborative action, adaptive leadership, talent management, and higher education access and success.
Angela began her career teaching high school math and science. She holds degrees in biomedical engineering and education, both from Harvard University; is an Annie E. Casey Foundation Children and Family Fellow; and serves as Vice Chair of the National Civic League.
