Amanda Gutierrez

Amanda Gutierrez, a high school student at Lincoln Pius X High School, recently won NASA’s Artemis Moon Pod essay content. Tapping into her creativity and passion for space discovery, she imagined a fictional NASA moon landing, earning her a trip to NASA’s fall rocket launch. Amanda has always loved engineering and building and has been building Legos and doing hands-on experiments for as long as she can remember. She plans to study aerospace engineering in college before working at NASA. Her biggest dream is to become an astronaut, just like the ones she envisioned in her essay.
