Kathleen Fredette
Married 35 years with 4 entrepreneur sons, Kathleen is a glider pilot and SCUBA diver; with a STEM Education, Curriculum and Design Masters (NASA Endeavor/Adam’s State); a Biblical Studies & Communications BA (Wheaton College); and Gifted Education, and a CA single subject science credential. Kathleen is an Airborne Astronomy Ambassador and has flown 4 missions on NASA’s SOFIA. Kathleen’s recognitions include the NASA Endeavor Leadership Distinction award (2014), a Teacher Grant to Israel through Holy Land Democracy Project (2012), Women in Aerospace National award (2014), Ninety-nines pilot scholarship (2016), Maker Learning Network, International Learning Leadership Recognition (2021). Kathleen is a Space Foundation Teacher Liaison and a Creative Learning Systems Advisory Council member, and she has supported 5 high school students who obtained their pilot rating and 9 successful student-authored experiments on the ISS.
