Ellen Hisken

Ellen currently serves as one of three Mixed Reality Specialists for Microsoft North America. Ellen and her counterparts are helping Enterprise Commercial customers reimagine how AI, IoT & automated workflows empower front line workers through collaborative Mixed Reality (MR) experiences to improve human understanding. MR is quickly mainstreaming into key industries at scale such as industrial manufacturing, healthcare, defense, and education, as a mission critical enterprise tool.

Previously, Ellen served as a Mixed Reality Specialist for the US Department of Defense and Federal Civilian agencies, in a similar fashion to how she now supports Enterprise Commercial customers. Her government focus derived from her previous role, where she worked as a Modern Workplace Specialist supporting the US Department of Energy sector on adopting modern collaboration tools that in turn allowed better and secure collaboration, enhanced scientific research, and improved workflows.
