Our youth are our future and I believe they deserve the opportunity to seek careers that showcase their talent. I’m proud to work as a Program Manager with E4 Youth with a team that recognizes the value in creativity and whose sole mission is to engage, empower, educate, and employ youth of color so they can excel in whatever path they choose.
I wanted to be a teacher since I was 4 years old and served in multiple Texas public schools as a 9th-12th English teacher for 14 years. Over the past 8 years, I’ve advocated for equitable funding and testified at our state capitol multiple times to help create SB149, a graduation bill that recognizes student growth over standardized testing.
