Nicole was born and raised in the suburbs of Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2019 as a Cherry Scholar with a BA in Political Science and a Journalism minor. She spent four years working with anti-abuse organizations – standing alongside victims of abuse, advocating for policies that protect victims' rights, and educating the public about the stigma of abuse and lived experiences of domestic violence survivors. She joined the Tennessee Justice Center (TJC) in October of 2019 to continue her passion for amplifying the voices of underserved communities. Since then, she has grown the organization’s digital network reaching thousands of new activists through over 50 digital campaigns. She has also played a key role in health equity efforts of TJC, working regularly with lawmakers, government officials, and advocates to pursue a more equitable healthcare landscape for people of all genders, identities, races, religions, and backgrounds.
