Nahid Ahmed

Nahid Ahmed is the Director of the Connect Program at Soliya, a not-for-profit that provides technology-enabled global exchange and education programming in partnership with institutions of higher education. As Director, Nahid oversees the strategy, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Connect Program, Soliya's flagship virtual exchange initiative. She also uses her 14 years of experience in international education and program design to support universities on integrating global exchange into their curriculum. Nahid holds a B.A. in international relations from Clark University, and as a ‘third culture kid’ herself, Nahid is driven by the belief that all young people should have the opportunity to explore different cultures and engage meaningfully with their global peers as a part of their formative experiences in order to thrive in an interconnected world.
