Walaa Salim

Walaa Salim is an Egyptian English Access microscholarship teacher and teacher-trainer. She has been teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) for thirteen years in Cairo, Egypt. She served as a mentor in the American English Global Comics Exchange Program in winter 2021, after completing both the summer intensive institute and the fall cohort in 2020. Walaa believes in human potential by making mistakes and trying new things. She is skillful in designing challenging, creative and innovative activities and online games to engage students and teachers by using technology for addressing their interests and needs.She also believes in learning through gamification. She strongly believes ongoing professional development is a must.
