Tessa Spraetz
Tessa Spraetz, MEd is a high school science teacher in Minnesota. Mrs. Spraetz’s currently teaches College in the Schools Physiology and Biology in partnership with the University of Minnesota. She also developed a new course for the 2021/22 school year called Infectious Disease and Public Health. Her instruction focuses on real-world curriculum and experiences to build skills and interest in STEM careers, including public health and the health field. Prior to teaching, she was an EMT/Paramedic for 10 years in Fargo, North Dakota. Ms. Spraetz is originally from Minnesota and earned her MEd in science from Minnesota State University. She also holds a BS in Biology and a BS in Life Science and General Science Education from North Dakota State University.
