David Delgado
As a Cultural Strategist at NASA/JPL, David leads the JPL Explorers talk series, developed to reveal the unique culture of exploration that emerges when people from diverse nationalities, interests, and ages gather together to participate in robotic space exploration. As a Visual Strategist, David draws from his background in anthropology, advertising, and STEAM education to create immersive experiences that activate the imagination and invite us to think more deeply about the questions that drive science and technology forward. A central theme to his work is the relationship between imagination and the desire to explore. He began his career at JPL by co-leading NASA's Imagine Mars Project, a project that teaches 21st-century learning skills through partnering underserved students with NASA scientists and engineers to imagine and design solutions for living on the planet Mars. David is a graduate of UCLA and the Art Center College of Design.
