Yichen Feng is a Vice President at Exceed Capital. Equity in and access to quality education for all students is core to her values and has driven her career. She is a proud first generation immigrant and graduate of the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Prior to Exceed, Yichen was on the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications investment banking team at Goldman Sachs, where she covered Education Technology, Internet, and Software clients globally. Her work in the broader human capital space has moved between the public and private sectors, and includes developing teacher training programs in Egypt, go-to-market strategy for African edutainment, conducting educational research in China, and creating parenting support programs with Ashoka in the US among other things. Prior to Goldman Sachs, she advised early stage education technology entrepreneurs at Village Capital and started her career on the Emerging Countries Council, Cisco’s in-house VC arm focused on Brazil, Russia, India, China, and Mexico.
She lives in Bernal Heights, San Francisco and you can find her teaching Girls in Charge, a design thinking course every Tuesday at Greenleaf Middle School in Oakland.
