Robert Abaidoo obtained his Ph.D. in Agronomy and Soil Science from the University of Hawaii, Honolulu and is a leading expert in crop productivity including peri-urban vegetable production systems. He has experience in international collaboration and partnered with several institutions in designing and implementing funded research projects usually as country lead for Ghana and working with stakeholders from the various Ministries and Local Government areas. Dr. Abaidoo’s administrative experience spans Directorship of KNUST Office of Grants and Research, Dean of the School of Graduate School, and Provost of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. He has extensive Grants management experience and managed several projects funded by DANIDA, Australia Government, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and African-German Partnership
