Vijay Perincherry

Dr. Vijay Perincherry is a co-founder and the Chief Data Scientist of Discourse Analytics. His primary interests are in developing solutions that help students achieve their peak potential. He has been actively involved in multiple public and private sector initiatives that focus on lifelong learning and development of students. Vijay earned his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics for his research on the role of uncertainty in guiding learning process and human decision making. As a part of his research he developed a generalized model to simulate individual learning processes.
His early career focused on investment analysis and consumer behavior. Over the last 15 years, Vijay has been involved in a multitude of initiatives globally, all focused on the promotion of education opportunities for disadvantaged youth. He is involved in initiatives in India, Africa, Latin America and the United States.
