Eric Wang

Dr. Eric Wang is the VP of Artificial Intelligence at Turnitin, focusing on leveraging AI to improve learning experiences and promote academic integrity around the world. Eric has over 15 years of experience in AI development spanning academia, government laboratories and industry, and specializes in developing and deploying cutting edge AI that emphasizes fairness, accessibility and transparency. He holds a BS and a PhD in Electrical and Computer engineering from The Ohio State University and Duke University, respectively. As a Buckeye, Blue Devil and a Yankees fan, Eric is insufferable to watch sports with on most days, but otherwise is very pleasant. Eric lives in Oakland with his amazing partner Aubrey and daughter Zoey.
