Jay Burcham
Jay Burcham authored the Community Integration Program that is used by Texas Health &
Human Service Agency in mental health facilities across the state that has resulted in thousands
of workers in re-entry programs to join the workforce with gainful emoloyment. He earned his
Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from ACU and his Doctoral work at Stanford-Saybrook
focused on Neurological Psychology. Burcham later adapted his program for K12 schools,
working with some of the largest school districts in the country dealing with SEL, behavioral
issues and psychosocial skills training. Burcham is now working with Distance Learning Media
to adapt those lessons into on-demand courses for young people entering the workforce,
veterans in transition and employers managing all level of staff. Burcham also serves as
Headmaster of the Brentwood Private school in Austin, Texas, ranked as the top K12 school for
academic performance in Texas the past three years.
