Ben Walsh

Dr. Ben Walsh is the director of the Imagine AI project where he works with a team of educators, researchers and computer scientists to develop an interdisciplinary AI Ethics curriculum for middle and high school students, support teachers in implementing this curriculum and conduct research studies to help improve the curriculum and evaluate its impact. In this role, he builds on experience as a research assistant in the Compose Our World and Build a Better Book projects, which also blended literacy learning with technology rich, project-based instruction. Across these research contexts, Ben has remained focused on bringing ambitious student-led curricula to multilingual immigrant students and members of other minoritized groups who are too often denied access to such experiences.
