Margery Mayer

Margery Mayer is a pioneer and leading innovator in educational technology. She served for 25 years as President of Education at Scholastic where she was the leading force behind the development of Read 180 along with a family of other successful edtech products.

Today, Margery is the founder and head of Audacity Education, where she advises a number of innovative companies and serves as a board member of Teacher Pay Teachers and Cambium Learning. Margery also sits on the boards of non-profit schools, including Public Prep, a life-changing network of charter schools in New York City and the Language schools and the Breadloaf School of English at Middlebury College.

Her most fundamental belief is that educational innovation must create measurable positive change--or forget it.
