Patsy Harnage

Patsy Harnage has more than 15 years’ experience as an Owner/Director of Bright Beginnings Child Development Center in Austin, Texas. Ms. Harnage earned dual bachelor’s degrees in early childhood education and Non-Profit Management from St. Edwards University. She is also a Certified teacher in EC-6 grade and a management consultant. Ms. Harnage’s mission is to empower young children to become global leaders. She believes they are unique individuals and should be respected as such. In the early years, children need to be in an environment that nurtures, develops, and educates to encourage creativity, exploration, and exposure through play. She believes early learning settings should promote the development of positive self-image, social/emotional, cognitive, physical, and creative skills, as well as an aesthetic appreciation, beginning in infancy.
