Kelvin Chan
Kelvin Chan, PhD, Managing Director of Early Childhood, leads the Robin Hood Foundation’s ambitious efforts to optimize birth outcomes, maternal health, and early childhood development to address racial inequity and social injustice. His portfolio also includes a $100 million childcare quality and innovation fund and the Fund for Early Learning (FUEL), which, at $50+ million, is the largest philanthropic fund in the USA focused exclusively on promoting infant and toddler language, social and emotional competencies. Kelvin is a native New Yorker and a proud alumnus of Head Start, NYC public schools, and Brown, Harvard, Columbia, and Cambridge universities. Kelvin is joyously raising three children, age four and under, with his wife in Brooklyn.
