
Lara Trubowitz
Dr. Lara Trubowitz is the Associate Director of ADL’s National College and University Programs, and Education Director for ADL’s Midwest region. In these dual roles, she coordinates anti-bias training workshops and bias incident response for K-12 school districts, colleges and universities, and municipalities, focusing in particular on white supremacist trends. She came to the ADL after having spent many years as a professor of English with expertise in 20th- and 21st-century antisemitism, racism, fascism, and neofascism. She has taught at the University of Iowa, University of California, Berkeley, Northwestern, and for the “Prison University Project,” a college degree program at San Quentin State Penitentiary in California. Prior to joining ADL, Lara worked with K-12 teachers, administrators, families, and students to create comprehensive anti-bias and equity curricula. She also served as a restorative justice trainer with the Restorative School Communities Initiative in Evanston, IL
