Mamie L. Pack is a Senior Faculty Instructor in the Teacher’s College at Western Governors University. An experienced DEI thought leader and strategic planner, Dr. Pack leads cultural training and provides direction on antibias and inclusive practices. Dr. Pack has spent over 20 years in education amplifying diverse voices in education. From grant writing to teach African American literature in high schools to creating safe spaces for youth, Dr. Pack centers her work around guiding teachers, schools, and organizations to become more diverse, equitable, and inclusive. Focusing her efforts on mentoring, student advocacy, and teacher development, Dr. Pack uses her Ph.D. in Education in Mentoring and a MEd in Divergent learning to serve as a clinical supervisor, mentor for new teachers entering through alternative certification programs and providing support for military spouses in education. Mamie is passionate about breaking barriers in education.
