Chrysta Carlin
Chrysta Carlin is the Assistant Superintendent for Pathways and Innovation in Leander ISD. She currently supports district leadership in implementation of deeper learning and providing pathways for each and every student. Prior to this role she served as the Executive Director of Secondary Curriculum for the district. Ms. Carlin has experience working at two public schools of choice. She served as principal of Memorial Early College High School in Comal ISD and as Master Teacher at Manor New Technology High School, both New Tech Network schools. She began her career in education as a teacher of secondary science at Stony Point High School in Round Rock ISD.
Chrysta earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and her M.Ed. from Texas State University. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Texas Tech University.
