Carie Spannagel

Carie Spannagel is a coffee-loving enthusiast who spends her days baking as a form of self-care. Her academic studies through Cameron University in Oklahoma include a bachelor's in Business Administration, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership that prepared her for the many roles she's served in education. As a former teacher, instructional coach, and administrator, she advocates for inquiry-driven instructional practices to equip students to be active and enterprising citizens. Being part of the inaugural staff of a progressive school of choice remains one of her proudest accomplishments. Currently, Carie serves as the Director of Instruction and Digital Learning at Leander ISD outside Austin, Texas. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Leadership and Learning in Organizations from Vanderbilt University.
