Jiquanda Johnson

Jiquanda Johnson is a Michigan Emmy Award-winning journalist and Founder of Brown Impact Media Group – an independent publishing company focused on developing news products in underserved and marginalized communities. A graduate of Wayne State University, Ms. Johnson works to support news literacy and hyperlocal community partnerships focused on increased community and civic engagement.

She recently partnered with Facebook to launch a project focused on Black culture in America wherein she will travel the country developing a multimedia series “Black Like Us” which aims to show the diversity of Black culture that defies stereotypes.
