Kristine Pedersen

Kristine Pedersen joined the Stanford VMware Women's Leadership Innovation Lab in 2017 as the Project Manager for the Seeds of Change initiative. Seeds of Change aims to provide girls and young women with the frameworks, knowledge, and skills to find and strengthen their own voice and to navigate critical transitions such as starting college and entering the workforce. Prior to joining the Lab, Pedersen spent 10 years working internationally developing and leading girls' and women’s education, engagement, and empowerment initiatives focused on combatting human trafficking. She received a B.A. in International Development Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.A. in Sustainable International Development from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.
