Science Educator
Huron City Schools

Leah LaCrosse has been a classroom educator for over 20 years. In that time, she has pioneered the use of technology, exploratory learning & student centered education. Beginning her career in social studies, Leah quickly discovered the need to build literacy skills alongside exploratory learning. Therefore, she continued her education to include a masters degree in Literacy. From there, Leah also expanded her understanding of students, learning, & social studies/history by becoming a National Board Certified Teacher in Adolescent Social Studies/History. Science education has been a true passion for Leah for the past 15 years. As a 5th & 8th grade Science teacher, Leah loves to integrate robotics, iPads, projects, & outdoor education into her integrated science classroom.
