Maggie Epstein

Margaret (Maggie) Epstein is currently an Environmental Science teacher and the Science Department Chair at The Baldwin School, an all-girls independent school in the Philadelphia area. This is her 20th year of teaching, having previously worked in the New York City public school system and Austin Independent School District. She has most recently focused her work on addressing mental health in the classroom setting, working with teachers to essentialize their curriculum and prioritize psychological safety and equity. She lives in Bryn Mawr with her husband, children and two dogs, though she is hoping to add many more dogs in the future.
