Sherry Logan

Logan is a certified literacy educator and technology integration specialist with more than a decade of teaching and consulting experience in promoting student achievement in K-12 school communities. Her passion is to increase racial literacy knowledge in schools to create more equitable learning experiences for all students, including through developing and implementing Culturally Responsive Education. She serves alongside the District of Columbia Public School system as a School Librarian, supporting administrators, teachers, and students by expanding teaching practices utilizing digital tools. Prior to joining DCPS, she held leadership positions for the Smithsonian Institution to include Chair of the Docent Council, National Museum of African Art and Co-Chair of the National Black MBA Association Student Outreach. In addition, she is honored to have served as a board member for Girls Rock DC (GR!DC).
