Claire Miller
Claire is a leader in the field of education with experience as an educator, school leader, curriculum designer, and nonprofit founder. She has empowered students to excel in Phoenix, Chicago, and Philadelphia as a teacher in both low-income and affluent school districts. She has also coached over 200 educators in the areas of restorative practices, culturally responsive teaching, and rigorous instructional practices, most recently putting those skills to work to transform a Chicago high school from ‘failing rating’ status to ‘top level’ status before returning to work in her hometown of Philadelphia. Claire founded Restorative Practices in Action in 2019 and achieved powerful impact across 5 West Philadelphia in the organization’s pilot year. She currently participates in the Uncommon Individuals Foundation as an invited entrepreneur and sits on the board for Fulphil, a nonprofit organization teaching youth social entrepreneurship to impact their local communities.
