Andrew Kim
Andrew B. Kim currently serves as the Superintendent of the Comal Independent School District, a fast-growth school district serving more than 25,000 students within its 589 square miles.
Prior to joining Comal ISD in 2012, Kim served as the Superintendent of Schools in Manor ISD where he was instrumental in the development and creation of Manor New Tech High School. He has also served as an Assistant Superintendent in Austin ISD, Director of Professional Development in Round Rock ISD, and a principal and teacher for the Dallas ISD.
Kim earned a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Texas at Austin, and a bachelor’s degree in medieval studies and classical civilization from Fordham University, Bronx, New York.
