Benita Flucker
Benita Flucker is Senior Vice President of Enterprise Development Strategy & Services for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH). At HMH, Benita leads all content development operations for the $2.8B EdTech key provider of K12 products and services. She brings more than 25 years of progressive EdTech experience in all markets, having held strategic leadership roles at Gale, Thomson Reuters, Cengage Group and most recently at HMH. Benita’s passion centers on improving academic outcomes for students of color and increasing leadership representation for African Americans and for women in business and across the education ecosystem. Benita attended the University of Michigan, as well as the distinguished Publishing Institute at the University of Denver, having been awarded a highly competitive graduate school scholarship. She is a frequent speaker and panelist on education and intellectual property topics, and serves on several professional boards, advisory committees, and industry organizations.
