Dawn A. Kurtz, Ph.D. is currently the Chief Research Officer for Child360 in Los Angeles where she provides executive leadership for staff who design, evaluate and seek funding for programs with the goal of advancing the early learning field. Dawn is passionate about contributing to the development of an equitable ECE system that supports ECE professionals and engages children and families in a culturally and linguistically relevant manner. During her tenure at Child360, Dawn has played a key role in the development and implementation of multiple early care and education projects at the local and state level.
Dawn has conducted research, presented and published on the developmental consequences of child abuse and neglect. She has also taught University level courses in Psychology and Child Development. She currently serves as a board trustee for Pacific Oaks College and Children’s School and is a member of the LA County Policy Roundtable for Child Care and Development.
