Preparing a Data Literate Generation: Why & How
For every kid in the U.S. to be data literate, a coordinated effort among diverse stakeholders and disciplines is needed. While the demand for data skills has ballooned in the past decade, high school students across the country are still not exposed to data science in the classroom. We wish to bring together people passionate about the urgent need for data literacy - teachers, industry leaders, parents - and brainstorm on how our children could be data literate as early as possible.
