Eating or Reading: Can We Solve Student Hunger?

Historically, high school and college students have experienced food insecurity. However, COVID-19 has exacerbated the issue, stretching far beyond the classroom and resulting in more students having to choose to either pay for school necessities, like textbooks, or to work to provide essentials like food and safe housing. As the world rebuilds, now is the time for new programming that supports students, preventing a harrowing decision between eating and reading that nobody should have to make.

Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
