Research shows that correctional education programs reduce the rate of recidivism by 43% and increase the rate of employment after release by 13%. Yet, the criminal justice system has continuously failed to provide quality instruction to successfully prepare inmates for life after incarceration. Join us to learn more about how state and local stakeholders are creating system level solutions to help increase access to quality education for incarcerated learners.
