Beyond COVID: Fostering Student Healing & Growth
COVID has affected each of us differently. In many ways, the pandemic has impacted children’s mental health (e.g., increased anxiety and feelings of isolation) highlighting the need for students to be adaptive and resilient in the face of adversity. This session will explore how adults can support children’s healing and growth in the classroom and at home. In particular, we will discuss how we can leverage SEL and tech to transform classrooms into spaces of collective healing post-pandemic.
This is an accredited session for CPE credit.Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
