Supporting Vulnerable ELL Student Development
This session will be an exploration of the unique needs and challenges that English language learners (ELLs), specifically refugees, asylees, undocumented students, and students with interrupted formal education (SIFE) encounter both at home and school that can impact their social and language development. This session will guide participants through current best practices that all educators can utilize to support these needs through collaborative and hands-on learning activities.
