Creating an Equitable Early Childhood System

Equitably designed early care and education systems need to be centered on social and economic justice, acknowledging current and historical inequities within its systems and with a commitment to transformative change co-created by families and communities. This session will challenge assumptions and provide guidance on how to create policies and practices in child care and early education that are equity-driven, child-centered, family-engaged and community-focused.
