The Shift from Content to Community

Passive methods of online education are failing learners. MOOCs, initially heralded for bringing online education to the masses, have been suffering from completion rates of only 3-7% for far too long.
Learners are hungry for active learning and opportunities to engage with a community of instructors & like-minded peers. In this session, Wes Kao will discuss the shift away from passive online learning to course models that utilize accountability and community-building to produce better outcomes.
