Dreaming a Just Future Through Hip Hop & Comics
Developed by Eisner Award winning comics artists and nationally recognized experts in culturally relevant pedagogy and project based learning, this interactive, creative workshop will show educators how to bring hip hop and comics together in their classroom teaching through high-impact, culturally relevant, and socially responsive graphic novel projects. Workshop participants will create a short, narrative comic and explore the impacts graphic storytelling can have on their students' lives.
