Go Beyond the Textbook to Create Lifelong Learners

If an adult wants to learn something new, do they read a textbook and diligently take notes? Nope.
Lifelong learners use a variety of sources: YouTube, blogs, podcasts, Wikipedia and even TikTok. If we don't supplement traditional sources and teaching materials with 21st century media, we are missing the opportunity to train students to learn from and examine critically the wealth of knowledge that exists on the internet. Oh yeah, and kids will enjoy learning (and your class) way more.
