We are experiencing a profound demonstration of how global issues impact local communities and why it's critically important to integrate the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals into K-12 education. Doing so will empower a new generation of changemakers to tackle the pressing problems of our time — from climate change to global health and equal rights. What is education for if not to equip youth to build a better future?
