Synchronous & Asynchronous Pathways to Learning

***To ensure an engaging and productive learning experience, attendance will be capped at 100 people. The Zoom link will be available on this page 5 minutes before the session start time. Please note, clicking the “Register” button does NOT guarantee access, as attendees will be let in from the waiting room on a first come, first served basis.*** The We Speak NYC ESOL video drama series showcases immigrants on learning journeys — pathways to acquiring information and skills they need to solve real-life problems collectively and individually — managing physical and mental health, obtaining careers and securing worker rights, engaging in their children’s education, and others. In this workshop, we practice pedagogies and distribute materials for synchronous and asynchronous instruction that empower adult students on their learning journeys.
