***To ensure an engaging and productive learning experience, attendance will be capped at 100 people. The Zoom link will be available on this page 5 minutes before the session start time. Please note, clicking the “Register” button does NOT guarantee access, as attendees will be let in from the waiting room on a first come, first served basis.*** Join staff from The New York Times, the Council on Foreign Relations and the American Democracy Project for a deep dive into digital literacy, global awareness, and deliberative dialogue. We will provide techniques and resources to improve students' digital literacy, global awareness, and civil discourse. We will include an in-depth discussion of how to engage students in deeper understanding of current events as a springboard for deliberative dialogue and to combat fake news and malinformation.
