Justin joined the It Gets Better Project in 2014, an opportunity that allowed him to fuse his passions for education, global development, and youth empowerment. His work with youth began in 2009 as an employment specialist in Nicaragua, and shortly after he served as an educator and program director at the DREAM Project, a non-profit school in the Dominican Republic. In 2012, Justin joined Teach For America (TFA) as a bilingual teacher - Spanish and English - in San Antonio, Texas. He has a Bachelor's in International Area Studies (emphasis on Latin America) and a Master's of Public Health (MPH) in Global Health Promotion.
