Jerika Johnstone

Jerika is mother to three young children, all of whom are “unschooled,” with a Masters in International Educational Development from Columbia Teachers College. Her approach to education is informed by the young people who chose her and this way of life. Jerika realizes the power of the individual and that there is no cookie cutter program that suits each soul. Jerika is a certified Kemetic (African) yoga teacher and through her practice she prioritizes her personal care which she feels is a valuable lesson to model for ALL.
