Michael Knox

Michael Knox is a graduate of the University of South Carolina-Columbia. He began his educational career in Greenville County in 2007 as a teacher at Woodmont High School, later teaching at Columbia High School and Greenville Technical Charter High School. He began teaching at Legacy Early College in 2016 and has served as the After School Director, a Mentor-Teacher, and the 12th Grade Advisory Chair. During Knox’s eleven years as a classroom teacher, his passion to help his scholars succeed was very evident. He brings that same passion and drive to his role as the Alumni Director at Legacy Early College. His main goal is to assist Legacy students as they transition from high school to higher education to ensure success in college up to graduation. In this way he supports Legacy’s mission to see all scholars to and through college. Knox loves to travel and explore the outdoors. He believes life is an adventure and uses that excitement inside and outside of the classroom.
