Climate Activist
US Youth Climate Strike

Haven Coleman, a 13-year-old environmental and social justice activist, inspires youth to fight for the world they want to live in. Her activism journey began at age 10 when she learned of the devastating role that climate change plays in the life of her favorite animal, the sloth. In the intervening three years, Coleman helped shape the conversation around climate change urgency.

Coleman speaks to audiences throughout the U.S. to both educate on and urge support for necessary climate action. More recently, Coleman co-founded US Youth Climate Strike, a movement that helped organize student strikes across the country in the Spring of 2019. In partnership with Greta Thunberg and the Friday’s For Future movement, Haven worked tirelessly to draw attention to immediate and imminent threats created by a changing climate.

Currently, Coleman makes her home in Denver, Colorado where she is at work on founding ARID agency, a Gen Z creative agency, organizing for the upcoming Earth Day climate strikes, and finishing 8th grade.
