Melissa Moritz
As Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, Melissa Moritz leads NMSI's efforts to develop new tools, programs and partnerships that advance STEM education for all students. She is a key architect of NMSI's STEM Framework for Success, which informs the STEM Opportunity Index.
Melissa is a former Deputy Director for the Office of STEM at the U.S. Department of Education. She previously worked as vice president for education initiatives at Teach for America and was managing director for STEM initiatives at TFA.
Melissa earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
